Patch

 

Patch is a beautiful, strong, large white dog with a black eye patch. She was brought to the Centre after her owner noticed that the rope she had been tied with had over time gotten too small for her and started tearing through the skin in her neck area. Patch spent several weeks in the ICU unit being treated for her sever and deep ulcerative wound. With time and care the wounds began healing very nicely.

We were surprised one day, several weeks later when her owner returned to the Centre with a new collar and leash wanting to return her home. After realizing that caring for your pet required paying attention to their specific needs and providing them with the appropriate equipment for their age and type, the owner was now ready to reunite with his pet.
